Who I am
I am Nora, Dr. phil., Positive-Psychologist and Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) based in Munich. As a coach I have been working with different clients for more than 10 years, helping them get closer to their individual goals in terms of leadership, stress management, creative potential, self-confidence, wellbeing, and happiness. Realizing that more and more people struggle with busy lives, computer workplaces that don’t offer much interaction with others, and start questioning if their lifestyle serves any higher purpose I combine coaching and yoga to meet those needs and help people grow in a way that allows them to have a happier life. My background as a psychologist and coach complement my yoga teachings, allow me to give students a deeper experience and serve them on their path of inner growth towards a happier life. To me, yoga is a practice on and off the mat. And on the other hand, coaching can benefit a lot from a holistic perspective as well as meditations to calm the nervous system and the mind and see more clearly.

My Story & Passion
I have been interested and attracted to yoga for more than 15 years, but it wasn’t until that one class at The Yoga Barn in Bali, that I really opened up to the yogic journey and realized what a profound potential yoga has. This made me really feel what yoga is and I guess it was the first time I truly opened up for it. After the class, I felt so blissful and happy that it made me want to go deeper on the yogic path. This path brought me back to Bali, to do a yoga-journey in 2015, a 200h Yoga Teacher Training at Desa Seni in 2016, and 500hours of Yoga Teacher Training in traditional tantric Hatha Yoga at The Practice Bali with Octavio Salvado in 2017 and 2018. In 2018 I also did a 50h Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Nik Robson in Bali. My ayurvedic hatha yoga classes are holistic offering a complete practice including asanas, pranayama, and meditation. My passion is to share the love of the practice of traditional hatha yoga and my creative, positive energy. I am teaching at Patrick Broome Yoga, and The Studio in Munich as well as online.

What I can do for You
Are you sometimes questioning if the life you live right now is really how you can unfold your true potential? Do you feel like something has to change but you are not sure how to approach these changes? Are you struggling to integrate your yoga on the mat to your life off the mat? Are you looking for more balance and groundedness as a safe place to grow from, spread your wings, and unfold the best version of yourself? Through an ayurvedic lens, I help you practice hatha yoga in a way that serves you to grow accompanied by individual coaching sessions giving you the inspiration and strengths you need to establish the change you desire. Whether you want to focus on personal coaching or yoga, I believe that a combination of both will provide you with the best tools to live your potential and flourish. This is what I call yoga on and off the mat. If you want to learn more about my coaching approach or book a free session to get to know each other, get in touch via hello@coachingandyoga.com
Ayurvedic Hatha Yoga
Did you ever experience feeling good after some yoga classes and less good after others? Has your yoga practice changed over time, in different phases of life or even with different daytimes or seasons? My understanding of yoga is based on Vinyasa Krama and the Samkhya Philosophy. Vinyasa Krama means 'wise progression' and originates from ancient knowledge putting together specific techniques (asana, meditation, bandha, ...) in a particular order to fulfill the highest potential of yoga. So yoga and asana are not the same! I design my classes in a holistic way offering a complete practice including asanas, pranayama, and meditation integrated with ayurvedic knowledge. The way I understand and teach traditional Hatha Yoga is greatly influenced by my teacher Octavio Salvado. To me yoga is rather connecting to yourself than being flexible, it's rather about the function than the form of a pose. My background as a psychologist and coach add to my teachings, allowing me to give students a deeper experience and serve them on their personal path.
